Oak Tree Minerals: Personal Portfolio Program (Institutional Brochure)

Overview
Oak Tree Minerals, LLC, a Texas-based energy royalty firm, required a professional investment brochure to introduce their Personal Portfolio Program to private investors. The objective was to simplify the complex world of oil and gas mineral rights and deeded acreage into a transparent, turn-key investment opportunity. Letter Case was responsible for the full editorial design, ensuring the brochure communicated institutional stability while remaining accessible to non-industry investors.

Design Concept The visual strategy for this project was “Trust through Transparency.” We utilized a “Clean Corporate” aesthetic with a primary palette of forest green and slate grey to evoke stability and growth. By balancing high-impact conceptual imagery with structured information design, we transformed a data-heavy subject into an inviting narrative for potential investors.

Key Features:

• Conceptual Visual Metaphors: The cover utilizes a creative “torn paper” effect revealing Benjamin Franklin’s eyes from the $100 bill, symbolizing the unveiling of a hidden asset class and the focus on financial profit.
• 5-Step Investment Infographic: We designed a central, circular infographic to explain the lifecycle of the program—from identification and acquisition to management and divestment. This visual simplifies the firm’s complex proprietary system into five digestible steps.
• Information Hierarchy & Readability: Using a sophisticated serif typeface for the body text and bold sans-serif for headers, we created a clear hierarchy. This allows investors to quickly scan the “Why Oak Tree” and “What Owning a Portfolio Means” sections without feeling overwhelmed by technical jargon.
• Data-Rich Spreads: We integrated 3D renderings of energy assets (oil rigs and barrels) with clean bulleted lists to bridge the gap between physical assets and financial performance.
• Regulatory Compliance Design: Special attention was paid to the integration of legal disclaimers and risk factors, ensuring they were clearly visible and professionally presented to maintain the firm’s integrity and transparency.

The final brochure serves as a powerful conversion tool for Oak Tree Minerals. It effectively demystifies the energy royalty asset class, positioning the firm as a professional, turn-key partner for private individuals looking to diversify their portfolios against inflation.
